FOAC simply cannot function without the on-going dedication and support from local volunteers.
Volunteers are incredibly important to the work we do, and we’re always looking for more people to come and give us a hand.
If you’re ready to put your hand up to help, simply pop into the shop and pick up a volunteer form.
Why do people volunteer?
“I believe they do so to make a difference. Nobody can do everything but everyone can do something.
We’re a mixed bunch at FOAC but we all have in common, a love and concern for animals’ well being. I personally feel very grateful to the animals that have shared my life and who have contributed a huge amount to the well being of my family.
Some of our volunteers also work at local animal shelters and we hear their stories – some sad and some uplifting – and it’s rewarding to be involved in raising money for their support.”
